Traction Concepts Limited Slip Installation

Thinking of doing the Traction Concepts LSD Conversion install yourself? Traction Concepts LSD Conversions are considered custom and specific to the specs of the OEM differential. It's not a one size fits all differentials type of product. 90% of our installation process does require a bit of your finesse and basic tools. Expect possible gear prep on the axle and spider gear faces that will mate with our Limited Slip Disc Plates. This gear prep step requires a lathe, mill, or it can also be done on a table sander or bench grinder. Not all installations will require gear prep, so if you are unsure, please reach out to us.

Most buyers and installers do not understand the importance of how our Limited Slip Disc Plates work with the axle/side spider-pinion gears and our Progressive-Rate Springs. You will need a smooth flat gear surface to achieve optimal traction performance from our Limited Slip Conversion Kits.

We work alone. Our Limited Slip Disc Plates do not work with other types of accessories like friciton plates sold by other look alikes. Special lubricants or additives are not needed in order to use Traction Concepts Limited Slip Conversions.

Check out our
Youtube Channel for different examples; or reach out to us if you need more info before attempting any of these methods for preparing your gears. It's not always needed, though most installations are not plug & play even when you have purchased your TC LSD Conversion for your specific differential.
